Less Than Cake

Until we reformatted our blog, everyone knew how many days were left until the baby was due. Sadly, the nautical themed blog wasn't really working for me (unfounded fear of water), so I made Adam change the blog and the fetus countdown was lost. Luckily, I am far enough along now that I can figure out how many days on my own. The magic number is 29 days! (Secretly, I am hoping the baby is born on Halloween because then there would be a party every year and you'd all be invited of course).

29 days means 29 more nights of waking up every 2-3 hours and 29 more days and nights of baby girl Smith sticking her teeny tiny feet in my ribs and hanging out for hours at a time. (This habit of hers, bytheway, must be inherited from her dad. He has the amazing ability to sit in one position, usually at the computer, and hang out for hours without realizing how annoying it is....really it is a thing to see). So wish us luck as we prepare for sleepless nights and all the joys of parenthood.
