Inspired by blogger jen I have decided to compile a Top 10 list about Sara.

So, here are 10 things you may not know about Sara:

10. Getting things done involves two key components for Sara -- her Nano and my mTune headphones*. Dishes, Laundry, House Cleaning etc. gets done when the headphones go on.

9. Just like all of us, when she goes to the library she returns with a stack of books. The similarities end there. Unlike the rest of us, she actually reads the whole stack of books before they are due back. She reads fast...if she really likes a book she will have it read in its entirety within 24 hours.

8. With a BA in English, Sara cringes when you misuse words and play mind games with her. Next time you see her, substitute 'infer' for 'imply' and vice a versa....it will make for a good laugh. But don't be surprised if she doesn't smile.

7. Hand talker. Have you ever talked to her on the phone? -- you missed out on half the conversation. She has some serious hand gestures that will be primed and ready to go when video calls are the norm.

6. She loves monkeys. She has an assortment of monkey socks, monkey shirts, even mokey pajamas. But don't extend this love affair to Curious George. She hates Curious George.

5. Sara is a great cook. This is mostly wasted on me since I am a bad eater but it doesn't make it any less true. If you can trick her into making chicken parmesan you will see what I mean.

4. She is a borderline Nintendo fanatic. She played the Game Cube for weeks when she got me the Paper Mario game*. And now she is into her Nintendo DS Lite she got for her birthday.

3. DO NOT leave the microwave door open when she is around. Or the copy machine up. These are big no no's in the Sara Code.

2. Sara is an early to bed late to rise type sleeper. Having a kid is really going to mess up that schedule.

1. She reads the 10 Spot on Sports Illustrated. Sadly, she actually gets most of the sports humor contained within the column. (Ed Note: I was going to link to the column, but Sara tells me the writer is on vaction in Ireland. Apparently she keeps tabs on her 10 Spot.)

*Christmas presents conveniently given to me and used extensively by Sara.
