CAMP TRIP
Sunday, June 24, 2007This weekend we hopped in our kickin' Jeep Liberty and headed to the Wasatch National Forest for some good ole camping fun. We ended up at Sulphur Campground -- which is nice cause not many people go there on account of the rotten egg smell (I didn't see any egg shells though). It is about 9,000 feet above sea level, or exactly 3,720 feet higher than Denver's Mile High Stadium. We remembered our football but forgot to throw the field goal posts in so I wasn't able to break Jason Elam's field goal record. Maybe next time.
The highlight of the trip was the meese that visited the grounds - there were 3 moose that came down for dinner. I offered a hamburger but they seemed to prefer the bush and grass diet. Whatever suits your fancy, stupid moose.
On the way out we also stopped in Kamas for shakes at the now famous Dick's Drive In. It was one of those old fashioned drive in. You Drive In. Get Out of Car. Walk In. Walk Out. Drive Out. Man I miss the old fashioned drive in.
