Welcome Back

It was a sad day when Coke bid adieu to Vanilla Coke. During its short lifespan VC had quickly become my beverage of choice. So, with no shortage of tears, I drank my last Vanilla Coke some year and half ago.
On occasion I was able to subside my cravings by happening upon petrol stations offering coke products alongside the increasingly ubiquitous vanilla flavor pumps. But it wasn't the same. Nor was the ill-fated creation unimaginatively coined Black Cherry Vanilla Coke -- the 2000's version of New Coke. BCVC was never right, and will always be wrong.
But, by the grace of the suits @ Coke's headquaters, Vanilla Coke is reborn. To those in Midtown Atlanta that made this revival possible a left coast drinker salutes you.
