So, since Adam and I both shared things about us that you might not know, and also about his dad...we thought we'd share more family information because hey, who doesn't like reading about people's quirks? So, here are 5 things you might not know about my dad, Dee.
5. The man can dance. When I was a little kid and we would go to Malad (my favorite small town in the world) for the 4th of July, there was a dance at night. My parents were always out on the floor country dancing the night away. You'd never guess now....
4. My dad has read every Louis L'Amour book ever written (at least it seems that way). I suppose if it were possible, my dad would like to drive cattle across the country the way they did way back then.
3. He loves ice cream, especially those new "Dibs". All of his grandchildren (and children) know that if you want ice cream after dinner, before dinner, whenever, all you have to do ask and it will magically appear from my dad's freezer.
2. My dad is an engineer, as in the kind that designs roads and bridges and stuff. Thus being so, I think the man only writes on graph paper. As a side note, because of the giant picture of a steam engine that hung on his office wall when I was kid, I thought my dad was an engineer, as in a train driver.
1. When my dad was a little kid, he had thick curly black hair. I have pictures to prove it. He says he would still have it, but he had me for a daughter and it all fell out. (editor's note: He was going bald before I was born...so it is not my fault entirely).
