Jazz vs. Sonics
Saturday, December 2, 2006
We saw this guy playing live. Of course, we couldn't see very well because we were almost in the top, and I mean very top, row of the "Energy Solutions Arena" formerly known as simply, "The Delta Center."
On Saturday night, Adam and I went to the Jazz game. Normally, we would not attend because basically Adam hates the Jazz. (Shhhh, don't tell, we could be banished back to Idaho.) Anyway, tonight the Jazz were playing the Sonics (YAY) so we went because I am a Sonics fan. It was a pretty good game, especially at the end. Ray Allen made a 3 pointer to put the Sonics ahead, and then the Jazz drove down the court and made their own 3. The entire arena was on its feet and screaming. Unfortunately, I was in the minority, so my cheers were slightly over powered by the crazed Jazz fans. There was a little kid sitting in front of us who was apparently also a Sonics fan and he didn't stop cheering the whole game. His cheers were really quite entertaining.
During the half time show, a break dancing group, The Bourbon Street Breakers, performed. It was a really good show with a lot more acrobatics than break dancing. One guy pretended to be Michael Jackson (back when he was cool) and moon walked. He was pretty good!
The other funny thing that happened at the game was I went to get some food and I was walking around and I heard someone call my name. I looked and it was Dave from my office. I forgot that he said he was going to the game too! It was funny.
By the way. HAIL TO THE VICTORS.
